Guided surgery enables you, the clinician, to place dental implants safely, quickly, and efficiently. All of the critical spatial factors that require precision, such as location, angulation, depth, and inter-occlusal clearance, are integrated into one simple guide. In other words, the guesswork of proper placement of the implant is removed, and the chances of the surgery succeeding are dramatically increased.
Guided Surgery Basics
We start by combining the patient CBCT and intraoral scan in our implant-planning software. This allows us to place the implant digitally and determine appropriate depth, sizing, and relationships to adjacent and opposing teeth. We then fabricate a 3D surgical guide that will allow you to replicate the digital placement on your patient.
Our goal is to make your implant surgeries simple, quick, and predictable.

Frequently Asked Questions
Start by clicking Submit a Case. Please read all the upload instructions and scanning protocol before submitting, and ask questions before you submit. Failure to do so may cause a delay in the completion of your case.
Guided surgery requires access to a CBCT, an intraoral scanner, and a fully-guided surgical kit. A diagnostic model can also be used instead of a scanner.
We also make very accurate pilot guides that can work with any implant system.
The digital treatment plan is ready within one business day of receiving acceptable scans. Once you approve the digital plan and pay for the case, we will print and ship using FedEx or UPS within five business days. It’s that easy!
